A collective tomb from the Umm an Nar period is located
inside Hili Archaeological Park.
This tomb is a new type for the
Umm an Nar perid and goes back to around 2200 - 2000 B.C.
The tomb was used as a secondary as
well as primary burial and has yielded pottery and stone
vessels. Jewelery is among the finds.Originally discovered
and excavated by the local department of antiquities,a
joint team from the U.A.E. and France is carrying out
further investigation at this unique tomb.
