The "Berza"
|
The
'berza' or 'majlis', which occupy part of the corridor
between galleries 1 and 2 is a place were the Sheiks
and heads of the tribes met their people. This has
been designated in a natural way illustrating the
head and his guests sipping Arabic coffee. The coffee
is prepared in the corner of the 'berza' by men. The
palm frond lids in the middle were meant to keep the
flies away from the dates.
